AR GLASSFIBRE SPRAY ROVING - HEJ 16.7%
HEJ 16.7% is an alkali resistant glass fibre roving (ZrO2>16.7) designed for use in all kinds of GRC exterior cladding panels and composites using the spray applied production method.
Spray-up is similar to shotcrete in that the fluid concrete mixture (minus ARG fibers) is sprayed into the forms. The concrete is sprayed out of a -like nozzle that also chops and sprays a separate stream of long fibers. The concrete and fibers mix when they hit the form surface. ARG fiber is fed off of a spool in a continuous thread into the , where blades cut it just before it is sprayed. Chopped fiber lengths tend to be much longer (about 1.5") than fibers that get mixed in, since long fibers would ball up if they were mixed into the concrete before spraying.

Huierjie AR Glassfibre roving's are used for spraying with industry standard GRC spray equipment. The normal recommended dosage is 5% by weight.

Domestic standard JC/T572-2002 (AR glassfibre for GRC application)
Int'l Standard: BSEN15422:2008; ASTM C 1666/C 1666/M-07 and specifications recommended by Int'l GRCA.
6. What is your quality difference on comparing to Cem-fil and NEG?
It is proved to have a similar quality and application performance to Cem-fil. (We have test report from Qatar Customer). It is also tested to have a similar quality and performance to NEG at Sheffield University, UK. Reports are available. Indeed, we have difference from NEG, while can compete with Cem-fil.
7. Do you send ARG fiber to the 3rd party lab for quality verifying?
Yes. We send ARG Roving to the 3rd famous lab for quality verify each year.
They are Fugro Lab in HK.
